These are the Rear Drag verion of this reel which is often preferred by anglers due to the ease of adjusting the drag when playing a fish. Simply reach down to the back of the reel and turn the large rubber covered drag adjustment knob.

3000 Size: 210m 0.25mm
4000 Size: 205m 0.28mm
5000 Size: 255m 0.33mm

Shakespeare tend to use the two different reel size formats interchangably depending on the products. So while the Beta and Salt reels use the 20, 30, 40, 50 sizing formats, the Mach reels use the 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, formats. The two mean the same thing, just one uses an extra two zeros at the end.
