Shakespeare tend to use the two different reel size formats interchangably depending on the products. So while the Beta, Firebird and Salt reels use the 20, 30, 40, 50 sizing formats, the Mach reels use the 2000, 3000, 4000, 5000, formats. The two mean the same thing, just one uses an extra two zeros at the end.

Although not salt water resistant, the polymer materials used in these makes them a popular reel with sea anglers as at this price they can be replaced when they do eventually seize up. Simply wash in fresh water after use to prolong their life.
