I use this fluorocarbon for all trout fishing - including the monster sea-run browns in Tierra del Fuego, and big rainbows in NZ where the 6 lb Fulling Mill outperforms 9 lb alternatives. It's also comparatively cheap. Unlike most other leader materials, it hasn't been drawn to a reduced diameter, and as a result is much, much more reliable.

A little on the stiff side, but to be expected from floro carbon. The coils that remain when coming off the spool can be removed by stretching the line with a few strong tugs. It then lays reasonably flat. Strong knot strength.
