DETAILS

These packs of braided leader loops provides a simple and effective way of putting a loop on the end of your fly line. Once the loop is on, it's very easy to attach leaders and or braided leaders using a loop-to-loop that won't get stuck in your rod rings

3 braided loops per pack
Each loop about 10cm / 4" in length
Pack contains 3 rubber sleeves - pre-attached.
Options include: Lightweight, Standard, Salmon and High Visbility Yellow.

MANUFACTURERS DESCRIPTION

The simple way to attach leaders to fly lines. Pack contains 3 finished loops withe silicon tubing ready to attach directly to your fly line. Our new design features unglued splices, which makes them softer and more pliable, avoiding those stiff glued sections which cause hinge points. Now you can simply add as much or as little glue to simply secure the loop as you wish.

OUR OPINION

Leader loops are a great way to add a loop to the end of a fly line. The way they're fixed means the harder they're pulled the stronger the braid grips the line.

They can be a bit fiddly the first time you put them on. After that it's really quite simple. A tip is to push the braid over the fly line a bit at a time as pushing the braid makes it expand so the line can slide in more easily.

Adding a small drop of superglue at the end of the braid just before sliding the rubber sleeve over provides a little extra security.

These loops have the silicon rubber sleeve pre-loaded on the loop which is nice. They also have the benefit of coming in a variety of sizes and colours to better match your exact needs and tackle setup.
