North Wales has some of the finest fishing in the whole of the British Isles. The river Elwy is excellent for Sewin (Sea trout) along with Salmon & Brown trout. The River Conwy is a larger river but fishes similarly. Still water game fishing can be had on numerous lakes such as Tai lake where it's possible to catch Brown or Rainbow trout up to 8lbs on fly.
