Q. How do I shop on your website?
Shopping on our website is really quite simple. We have a detailed step by step guide here.
Q. Do you hold stock of everything?
In general, yes. The only times we don't have an item in stock is when it's no longer available or we are waiting for more stock to arrive from our suppliers. We usually receive stock deliveries every week so it's worth checking back regularly or giving us a call and we can help you over the phone.
Q. How quickly will orders be despatched?
We're usually very quick with the vast majority of orders received by 3pm sent out the same day. We don't promise this though so if it's important an item arrives the next day then it might be best to find someone who offers a 'next day' delivery service.
Q. An item is showing as 'out of stock'. Will it come back into stock?
Yes, usually it will come back into stock unless it's no longer available. We re-order from our suppliers regularly to try and avoid stock outages, but sometimes we have a rush on fast moving items and sell all we have until more stock arrives. If in doubt give us a call on 020 8455 7778.
Q. Is the same discount applied to everything?
Everything we sell is priced competitively based on customer demand and the discounts we get from the manufacturers. Where a product has several variants, then the same discount shown at the top of the product page is applied to all the items on that page
Q. Do your prices include VAT?
Yes. All our prices include VAT for UK and European customers. The total VAT included in the price is shown as a separate item in the cart and checkout for your information but is already included in the individual product prices.
Q. Can I order over the phone?
Yes. We can take orders over the phone if you'd like. Just give us a call on 020 8455 7778 and we can talk your order over with you.
Q. Can I pick up my order in person?
Yes, if you'd like to. Just place the order as usual and then call us to let us know not to sent it out. Your order will be ready the following day for collection during our normal opening hours.
Q. Can I visit your shop?
Yes, please do visit our shop where you can see and feel everything we sell. There's such a huge range of items these days that it makes sense to try and feel key items of tackle before making your mind up on which one is right for you.
Q. What payment methods can I use?
You can pay with the usual credit or debit cards as well as Paypal.
Q. Are my details secure?
Yes. Our checkout pages are secured by SSL and our payment processors are all certified to the highest level of PCI regulations.
Q. How much does delivery cost?
UK Delivery charges depend on the size of the item. Small items are just 95p to deliver, medium items are £2.95 and large items such as salmon rods are £6.95. If your order value is above £10 (for small items), £50 (for medium items) or £100 (for large items) then we don't charge for UK delivery.
Outside the UK delivery is £9.95 but is not available on large or very heavy items such as fly rods, waders, etc.
Q. How long does delivery take?
Within the UK we use First Class post where possible which could well arrive the day after despatch.
International deliveries are sent by Air Mail and will typically take at least a week to arrive.
Q. Can I have items delivered to my work address?
Yes. At the checkout you should tick the box marked 'Deliver to another address' and you'll be given the option to include a separate delivery address.
Q. Do you deliver outside the UK?
Yes. We offer international delivery on most items of tackle but excluding large and heavy items such as rods and waders. The cost for this service is £8.95.
Q. What do I do if the item is broken?
Please let us know by email or telephone so we're aware of the problem and we'll confirm the best method of returning an items for a refund or replacement.
Q. How do I make a return?
Simple send the item back to us with a covering note so we know who it's from and what we should do with it to:

You will normally be responsible for the cost of returning an item unless it's due to an error on our part or the item was received damaged.
Q. Can I return something I don't like?
Yes. Please return it to us in it's original condition together with the original packaging within 30 days. See the return details above.
Q. How long do I have to return an item?
By law you have 7 working days to return an unwanted item starting from the day you receive it. We extend this to 30 days so you have plenty of time to think things over. Please be sure to keep the original product packaging and to return the item in it's original condition.
Security and Privacy
Q. How secure are my contact details?
Your contact details are secured at the checkout stage by SSL so cannot be seen or copied by anyone else other than ourselves.
Q. How secure are my payment details?
When you pay your payment details are secured to PCI DSS level 1, the highest level of security certification. 'PCI DSS' is the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards' established to ensure payment details are secured to the highest levels possible.
Q. Do you share my details with anyone else?
Yes and No. We do share your address details when taking payment to ensure orders aren't fraudulent and we might contact you after ordering to allow you to provide feedback on our service. Other than this we do not share your details with anyone and certainly not with any other commercial organisation.
Q. What is your Newsletter?
Our newsletter is sent to interested customers to keep them up to date with all the fly fishing news, tackle views, fishing reports and special offers we have.
Q. How often will I receive emails.
This will vary depending on the time of year and the amount of relevant information we have. You should hear from us every week or two around the start of the season but maybe only once a month during the off season.

Yes. Every email we send you will contain an 'unsubscribe' link. Just click this and we'll take you off the email list.
Q. How can I contact you?
The best way to contact is by email or telephone. Email works well because we often check our emails out of hours, but sometimes a phone call is a good way to discuss things in detail.

Q. How quickly will you respond?
We normally reply to emails within 24 hours and often much faster. If you haven't heard from us within 48 hours then please try again in case something went wrong with the first attempt.
