	Fantastic value fly reels from Shakespeare. These fly reels have a strong but lightweight composite cage and spool. The open cage design makes it easy to change lines while the adjustable disc drag system is ideal for those who like to play fish from the reel. The Alpha fly reel is available in two sizes. A 3.5" diameter version for AFTM 4 - 6 lines and a 3.75" version for AFTM 7 - 8 lines (and backing). Both versions are about 1.25" wide and have an adjustable disc drag which can be easily changed over for left or right hand winding. As an added bonus, the Alpha fly reels come with a free spare spool which really hits home the value for money message. Well made with a nice quality to them, they feel like a more expensive reel. If you want a low cost large arbor fly reel then these reels are the ones we recommend.
