Robustly made and nicely finished, these competitively priced telescopic fly fishing rods from Shakespeare are ideal when travelling on holiday or where space is an issue.
Both rods have 7 telescopic sections that extend to 9' (2.70m) for fishing and close down to 22" (57cm) when not in use. Making them popular for carrying in a suitcase or when cycling or travelling on a motorbike. The rods are available in AFTM 6/7 or 7/8 versions so you can choose the one that suits your existing setup or style of fishing.
Being telescopic, the lower sections of these travel fly fishing rods have a relatively large cross section that gives them a slightly soft action. Not ideal for distance casting, but maybe more forgiving for less regular fly fishermen.
The rods are finished to a high specification with lined guide rings, a full-wells cork handle and an attractive alloy real seat fitting.
They come in a rod bag and with a carrying case that will hold your fly reel as well as the rod.
A bit more expensive than our other telescopic fly rods but fantastic value for what you get at this price.
