Cortland 444 SL Fly Lines The Cortland 444 SL Series of fly lines have been designed with a stiffer construction than the standard 444 for longer casting.

Like the Cortland 444 series these are high quality fly lines that perfectly match todays carbon-fiber fly rods. The super smooth, self-lubricating, glass-like finish together with the slightly stiffer construction makes them the ultimate fly lines for casting long distances.

The Weight Forward taper versions of these lines are all 5 yards longer than usual to avoid casting out past the backing line.
